I met C. JoyBell as a fellow blogger and, thus, was already privy to her talents. She writes with such passion about life, love, our world - topics to which we can relate on such a personal level and with which we can identify. Her book, "The Sun is Snowing" is a delight from cover to cover and mine is becoming dogeared from use. There are so many poems I love - "Moonlight in January" especially touches me as it portrys the bond between grandmother and grandson. "Embrace" speaks to love conquering distance and "Me" is a beautiful admonition to "wait for me and I will be only yours." Along with the poetry and prose are lovely photographs contributed by friends of C. Joybell which add beauty to her book.

If you like poetry, I think this book will be a treasure to add to your collection. If you haven't really been a fan of poetry, "The Sun is Snowing" may change your mind. C. JoyBell has a way of of embracing life, even with its occasional pitfalls, and mesmerizing us with her inspirational portrayal of it.

"The Sun Is Snowing" is a collection of poems and some proses accompanied by photos and well published by AuthorHouse. If you enjoy Charity's blog, this book won't disappoint you at all. It stands out for the coherence of the whole, and a true self-expression. The proses have to do with moralities, the author's own universe of values and principles. The poems' main theme is romantic love.

The poetic voice speaks of love in first person, directly to the loved one. The sun, its light, and an inner flame are some of the images you will find here. But there's a lot more in these poems, like the transcendent relationship with God. Sometimes, there's an identification of nature with the loved one ("You are the sun"), and the poetic voice can also mix with nature, as we can read in "The window, my soul, the sun, the sea". I recommend you to read this book and find for yourselves its subtleties. It's so well written and I'm sure it will last a long time.

This book, The Sun is Snowing, is Awesome! It is a book of poetry. The author, (Charity)C. JoyBell C. writes with such passion! Her words jump off the pages and into your heart. As I read each page in her book, I thought I could pick one favorite poem, but I can't. The reason being, each one is so special, so unique in it's own way. I can tell you that you will read how deeply she loves. You will hear it in her words. Many of her poems are like love stories to people or to the Lord. I love this book! I will keep it and cherish it forever!
I have a feeling this won't be her last book. I look forward to reading many more of Charity's writing. My prayer for her is that God richly blesses her for writing this book!
Sometimes when i read her poetry I feel I step into dream. She is not angel, but one could easily mistake her for one. Her irresistible charm comes across on the page as it does in person and it is a privilege to be able to read her verses or hear them being read.She takes life's sweetest moments and shares them on every page. She shows us that life is not always all pretty dresses and daffodils in spring, but that it can be. Life may not always be easy and we may not always make it through unscathed, but always in tact and improved upon. She is genuine and passionate, intelligent, witty, and emotional. Innocence & lost innocence is a gem in her hands. Life is precious and she has it all. I can read it over and over again. What a pearl in the sand. Younger readers may not always relate to her metaphors, but adult readers will love her. This collection of poems makes us nostalgic for a time when childhood was admired completely & fantasies were hoped for, but also allows us to bask in the reality of today's postmodern times with the knowledge that not all is black and white.
